The Village of Clyde Fire Department was founded in 1921 and is one of five departments serving Westlock County.
Currently, there are 19 members/volunteers on our department who continually train to improve their skills.

Fireworks permits can be obtained at no charge.

Applications must be submitted at least 28 days prior to fireworks display events.

Special permission may be granted to non-profit organizations for displays during major events within the Village. (ie: Canada Day, Summer Solstice, Santa Claus Parade, etc.)

All fire permits are location specific and non-transferrable. New home buyers will need to apply for a new permit if there is a fire pit located on their property.

Fire permits are $20 upon receipt of application at the Village office located at 4812-50 Street Clyde, AB.
