The Village of Clyde Fire Department was founded in 1921 and is one of five departments serving Westlock County.

Currently, there are 19 members/volunteers on our department who continually train to improve their skills.

  Other services provided:

  • Fireworks Permit

    • Fireworks permits can be obtained at no charge.

    • Applications must be submitted at least 28 days prior to fireworks display events.

    • Special permission may be granted to non-profit organizations for displays during major events within the Village. (ie: Canada Day, Summer Solstice, Santa Claus Parade, etc.)

  • Fire Permit 

    • All fire permits are location specific and non-transferrable. New home buyers will need to apply for a new permit if there is a fire pit located on their property. 

    • Fire permits are $20 upon receipt of application at the Village office located at 4812-50 Street Clyde, AB.
