Information for Utility and Tax Services During Canada Post Strike

With the postal strike impacting mail delivery, the Village of Clyde has alternative methods for residents and businesses to manage their utility bills and access other account information.

 

Please note that utility payments, tax payments and permit-related application deadlines remain due on their regular dates, even if you have not received documents in the mail.

 

Utility Bills

Options for Receiving Your Utility Bill

  • Sign Up for E-Billing: When you sign up for e-billing, your utility bill is sent directly to your email. To sign up, contact us at finance@villageofclyde.ca or call 780-348-5356.

  • Pick Up in Person: Visit the Village Office at 4812 – 50 Street during business hours

       (Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., closed from 12 to 1 p.m.) to collect your bill.

        Bring government-issued ID for account verification.

  • Request an Email Copy: Contact the Village at finance@villageofclyde.ca or by phone to receive a copy of your bill via email.

 

Options for Paying Your Utility or Tax Bill

  • Online or Telephone Banking: Use your bank's online or telephone banking services to make payments. 

  • In-Person: Pay at the Village Office with cash, cheque or debit card.
    (Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., closed from 12 to 1 p.m.)

  • Credit Card Payment – Credit card payments are accessible through PaySimply.  Visit www.villageofclyde.ca/utility-tax and click the appropriate link for utility or tax payments. **A service charge does apply to credit card payments and is paid directly to PaySimply.
